Quick to anger with girlfriend
I recently had the opportunity to work with a client who was experiencing anger issues with his current girlfriend.
After having been together for around 18 months, my client started getting very angry often for no reason. However, he did say it was worse when his girlfriend was going out with her girlfriends.
After a few minutes of discussion it became clear that the issues were very much related to an event in the past, when his girlfriend at the time cheated on him. Understandably, he was extremely upset and angry at the time.
Blood Test Phobia
April 2007
‘Elizabeth’ had a strong phobia for blood tests which was stopping her getting the treatment she needed for her Anorexia. Although she was very close to death from lack of nutrition, the doctors at the hospital couldn’t help Elizabeth unless she was willing to submit to blood tests.
Unfortunately, Elizabeth’s fear of blood tests was stronger than her fear of dying from anorexia. As an adult the hospital needed her consent before taking the tests.
Anger Management Issues
One of my clients had problems with anger management – he would often get extremely angry, often with very little reason, and would lash out at his family.
He felt his wife was deliberately goading him, and he lashed out physically against her.
He really wanted to discover how to control his anger, so we met up for two sessions.
I treated a number of issues that had caused him to be angry in the past, and helped him look back at those situations in the past from a different point of view.
EFT for Food Swallowing Problems
We are often severly affected by events that took place many years before, and typically when an issue has existed for a long time and sits very deeply, more sessions are required to completely resolve all aspects of the issues.
A recent client started having problems swallowing solid food he was in the late teens. He felt like he was choking, and was convinced anything solid would get stuck and he would die.
He was uncertain why this was, but thought it could be connected with an event as an early teen when he saw a family dog nearly choke to death on a chicken bone. It caused my client a lot of worry and anxiety at the time, and he was really upset.
